Will Chandrababu Stay In Jail Till October 5th?

Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu who served as the Chief Minister in the previous regime faced a hammer blow with the AP Skill Development scam. He was arrested and sent to jail. His custody was extended and the AP CID grilled him in connection with the case

Looking at the developments in the case, doubt had arisen on whether Chandrababu Naidu should stay in jail till the 5th of next month. His petition to get bail in the case he filed with the special ACB court was adjourned till the 5th of next month. On the same date, the court will also hear the petition for his custody.

So he has to stay in the court till the fifth of next month. There is no other option here. However, there is a slight possibility for him to get relief if his quash petition is heard on the 3rd of next month by the Supreme Court. If the petition is heard and the orders are given then he might get relief.

A bench will hear the petition of October 3rd and if the bench won't hear the petition due to any reasons then he has to wait till the fifth. We will get clarity on this in a few days.

The ACB Court has been hearing petitions on Chandrababu's bail and the petition filed by the CID to seek his custody for a few more days. There is a lot of suspense on this to see what the Court will say. If nothing happens in the Supreme Court then the ACB court will decide what to do.

Chandrababu Naidu's petition in the High Court in connection with the alleged Amaravati Inner Road scam was adjourned to the 29th of this month. He moved the court seeking anticipatory bail as he is the A1 in the case. CID which is probing the matter is alleging that a few irregularities happened in the Inner Ring Road alignment.
