Will Jagga Reddy field his daughter against Harish Rao?

Is Toorpu Jagga Reddy, the lone Congress MLA from the undivided Medak district planning something big in the region’s politics? The buzz is that he is mulling fielding his daughter Jaya Reddy as the MLA from Siddipet assembly constituency. This only means that he is all set to challenge the might of Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao.

Jagga Reddy himself will defend his Sangareddy seat and will devote time for his daughter in Siddipet. Siddipet is a BRS citadel and has not lost an election there since the party for formed. Initially, KCR represented the constituency and after him, Harish Rao has been winning from there.

However, the Congress did g up against the BRS. Similarly, Jagga Reddy’s wife Nirmala has polled nine votes more than expected in the MLC elections. This shocked the BRS . So, nobody takes Jagga Reddy lightly in the erstwhile Medak district.

His daughter Jaya has been working with her father for the past several years and has built a network of supporters in the whole district. Jagga Reddy wants to give a tough fight to Harish Rao,who has been winning from Siddipet for the past several times.
