Yarlagadda To Be Pitted Against Vallabhaneni Vamsi?

The opposition Telugu Desam Party has taken the upcoming elections prestigiously and it wants to win the elections. More than winning the elections, it wants to teach a big lesson to a few legislators who have been aggressively targeting the party and the chief.

Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan is one among them. Despite winning on a TDP ticket, he has been walking with the ruling YCP and it is being projected that he would be the YCP candidate from the Gannavaram Assembly seat.

It appears that TDP found a candidate to take on Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan. Yarlagadda Venkata Rao was appointed as the in-charge of the Gannavaram seat. None other than, Nara Lokesh announced the same.

Yarlagadda Venkata Rao said that they would work together to defeat Vamsi. He said that the party cadre is strong there and it is strong enough to make Vamsi taste a defeat. We will make the best of the old and new forces and go forward, Rao said.

It is now the trend that whoever is appointed as the in-charge of the constituency is being seen as the potential candidate. With this, we have to think that Yarlagadda Venkata Rao would be the candidate who would be the one to run the elections from there.

Yarlagadda Venkata Rao is a YCP leader who contested the 2019 elections from the Gannavarm seat. However, luck did not shine on his side and he lost the elections with a small margin.

But things changed rapidly with Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan walking with YCP. It is said that he is likely to get a party ticket. Not happy with this, Yarlagadda Venkata Rao resigned from YCP and met Chandrababu Naidu a few days back. Now he is appointed as the in-charge of Gannavaram.
