I Would Have Come To Power Five Years Back: YS Jagan!

The election fever has gripped Andhra Pradesh which will go to elections in a few months. The political parties are busy with the election preparations. All the parties are confident of winning the elections. The surveys are being conducted by the firms for the elections.

Ahead of the elections, the YSRCP government tabled its last budget for the financial year. On the occasion, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made some crucial comments. The Chief Minister said that he cannot utter lies and he won't tell any lies.

Addressing the Assembly House, the Chief Minister said that he could not tell any lies and that had he told the lie he would have come to power in the previous elections itself. He also cited the 2014 election result and the difference in vote percentage of both parties.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that he was advised to give a promise about the farmers' loan waiver. But he refused to do so as he could not give a false promise to get votes and come to power. I had to sit in the opposition for five years for not telling a lie about the loan waiver. Had I told the lie I would have come to power five years back itself.

On the occasion, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy slammed Chandrababu Naidu for coming to power by making false promises. He asked what happened to the promises of loan waiver he made before the elections. He could not fulfill the promise and this made the farmers' lives in a big confusion. However the YCP helped the farmers with the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
