The new year started on a perfect note for every film industry. There are big hits in Tollywood, Bollywood, Kollywood and Mollywood too. At least one blockbuster arrived in every language. 'Waltair Veerayya' starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja became a super hit and provided a perfect start for Tollywood in 2023. Coming to Kollywood, Vijay scored a huge hit like 'Varisu' while Ajith's 'Thunivu' too got good collections.
Coming to Bollywood, they got their blockbuster that they longed for. After a gap of more than two years, the first blockbuster got registered in the form of 'Pathaan'. The industry has lost its glory in the last few years and every big film which came out ended up being a disaster. But Shah Rukh Khan came back after a four year sabbatical and gave an immense boost to everyone. The energy he provided is expected to be carried on by the upcoming big projects. There is a chance that Bollywood will be making around 3000 crore business this year.
