The Telugu Film Industry is celebrating the blockbuster results of Kalyan Ram's 'Bimbisara' and Dulquer Salman's 'Sita Ramam' right now. The last two months have been dreadful for Tollywood and not one film managed to become a commercial success. Everyone is hoping that the success streak continues as there are a lot of craze projects lined up.
Currently, a meme is going around social media which showcases the success formula for Tollywood in recent times. At the end of last year, senior Nandamuri hero Balakrishna arrived with 'Akhanda' and scored the biggest blockbuster in his career.
Following 'Akhanda', Young Tiger NTR scored another blockbuster in the form of 'RRR'. Directed by SS Rajamouli, this high-budget action film had Ram Charan and NTR playing the lead roles. It minted over 1100 crores worldwide. People were flattered with NTR's performance as Komaram Bheem and he is receiving accolades from the international audience after the film came out in OTT platforms.
Now, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is getting good recognition with 'Bimbisara'. The film got a positive talk right from the beginning and it already entered the profit zone after its first weekend. In June, Kamal Hassan scored a blockbuster like 'Vikram'. The gangster drama was massive in Tamil as well as Telugu. It became a favourite for many.
Interestingly, the common element in all these hit films is that there is a kid sentiment. We all know, Balayya protects the young girl in 'Akhanda' whereas the whole story of Komaram Bheem in 'RRR' is about bringing Malli back. The storyline of Kamal Hassan's grandson in 'Vikram' touched many. Kalyan Ram's film too had followed that sentiment. Many say that having a small kid proved lucky for 'Sita Ramam' too.
