Sirivennela Sitaramasastry Dies Of Lung Cancer

Legendary Telugu lyricist, Sirivennela Sitaramasastry has sadly passed away due to lung cancer related medical complications. He died at 4:07 PM today and the same was confirmed through a medical bulletin.
"Sri Sirivennela was admitted to KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad, on 24th November with Pneumonia. He was put on ECMO to support his lungs in ICU and was under close observation. Noted Tollywood lyricist Sri Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry garu passed away this afternoon at 4.07 PM. He died of Lung Cancer related Complications," the medical bulletin read.
Aged 66, Sirivennela Sitaramasastry has garnered eleven state Nandi Awards and four Filmfare Awards South for his lyrical works. He has penned lyrics for over 3000 songs until 2020.
Sirivennela Sitaramasastry made his debut with K Vishwanath's Sirivennela and he has been one of the leading personalities in Telugu literacy ever since.
