10 Years Jail For 3 Indian-Origin People In UK!

We often hear that Indians living aboard often face troubles with mugging and other activities. Such incidents were reported a few times. But the new incident is the opposite of this. A woman in Britain faced issues with Indians. She battled a tough time with this. As a result, three Indians were served jail term.

It is said that three Indian-origin men Ajay Doppalapudi(27), Vahar Manchala(24), and Rana Yellambai(30) forced a woman to get into their car in Leicester City in Britain last year. Reports say that they tried to fulfill sexual gratifications. After terming the three as guilty, the court slapped them with a jail term of 10 years each.

Going into detail, on the 16th of January last year the victim went on a vacation to the Leicester City Centre in the early hours. The three men approached her. She trusted that the car might be a taxi. However, she found that the car was traveling away from her house.

The accused drove the car to 15 miles away and stopped it at a secluded area of Misterton village. Later, they dragged the woman out of the car. The prosecution told the court that the woman was drunk at that time.

The victim somehow managed to escape from them and informed the cops. They showed up at the spot in a few minutes and took her to a safe place. The cops started a probe later and through the CCTV footage they found that the accused live in Leicester City Center Gaul Street and arrested them, reports say.

“Without a doubt, the three men involved in this case were predators. They were in the city centre in the early hours that Sunday morning looking for a woman to take advantage of to fulfil their own sexual gratifications,” Detective Constable Gemma Fox said. Following this, the court slapped them with a jail term of ten years each.
