Housing Troubles For Indian Students In Canada!

India and Canada, which have been friendly nations for decades, are seeing tense situations. Things between the two countries are not going well for a few weeks and observers worry how worse the situation could be in the future. They say that they had not seen the scenes which are prevalent now in the past.

India and Canada started seeing a tense situation after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau levelled serious allegations that Indian agents might be involved in the killing of Khalistani extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. India hit back at the allegations. Canada removed the Indian diplomat and India reacted similarly.

Post this, the Indians living in Canada are said to be facing issues from the Khalistani supporters who are threatening them to return to India. A few representatives approached a Minister on the threats they were facing. But it is said that they are facing issues there.

As if this is not enough, the Indian students are facing new issues there. It is said that Indian students are facing issues getting houses on rent and they are hitting the road to get places on rent.

Ontario and its neighbouring regions are struggling with a lack of housing places and Indians are facing issues with this. Despite checking for houses door-to-door the Indian students are not getting relief. This is the ugly picture of the housing crisis in Canada. The housing crisis is an added headache for Indian students who are already struggling with a lack of part-time jobs and inflation.
