Balineni puts the ball back into Jagan's court

Has former minister and YS Jagan's close relation Balineni Srinivasa Reddy thrown the ball into chief minister's court? Has he shown why he matters in Prakasam district politics to YS Jagan? Will YS Jagan now act and ensure that Balineni's interests and more importantly, his prestige, are protected within the party? These are the questions that are being asked in the political circles especially after the recent meeting between Balineni and YS Jagan.
Balineni has been upset ever since he has been divested off his ministerial post. Later, Jagan appointed him the regional coordinator of the party. However, Balineni was tormented by some key leaders from Prakasam district. Unable to put up with it any longer,Balineni resigned from the post of regional coordinator of the party recently. He did not even bother to talk to the media about his resignation.
Soon after this resignation, a shocked Jagan has invited Balineni to a one-on-one with him. Balineni not only met him but also spoke to the media after the meeting. This is a departure from his earlier practice of not talking to the media. He told the mediapersons that he had complained against two persons, who were putting spokes in his work.
Balineni has now reportedly decided to focus only on his constituency with an eye on the 2024 elections. He is now hoping that YS Jagan will act and remove the obstacles on his way. He feels that by throwing the ball back into Jagan's court, he has forced Jagan to act on the internecine squabble in the Prakasam district's YSRCP. Let's wait and watch for more drama on this front.
