Big Shock To BJP MLA Raghunandan In Rs 1000 Cr Defamation Case!

In a sensational development, BJP firebrand cum MLA Raghunandan Rao was slapped with a 1000-Crore defamation notice in connection with the 30-year toll collection contract for the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited bagged the bid for the lease of Outer Ring Road. In the notice, the body said that Raghunandan Rao made many allegations.
Addressing the media on the 25th of May, Raghunandan Rao made sensational comments that the IRB company is killing those who are fighting against the Outer Ring Road lease. But the concerned company hit back at the MLA saying that he is making allegations without any evidence. Saying that such comments would mislead the people and the company said that they would hinder the prestige of the company.
The company said that it has nothing to do with the murder case of the RTA activist and the Pune sessions court and Mumbai High Court gave a clean chit. It said that Raghunandan Rao knows nothing and he is making comments. The Company also said that MLA's comments on IRB Infra getting blacklisted are also baseless.
The company said that IRB is part of many national projects and the company was not blacklisted. Having said that the company blasted the MLA for speaking without knowing the truth. The comments he made for political gains are hindering the image of our company. If he won't issue an open apology he has to pay a sum of Rs 1000 crore as defamation, the company said. Having said that the company also warned about further actions. Now we have to wait and see how Raghunandan Rao reacts to this. TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy also made some comments against the IRB company and it served notices to him as well.
