Did MLAs Fight In The Assembly?
X
The execution of sessions in the Assembly House is deteriorating day by day. Soon after the sessions started on Monday two members had an argument and the situation reached a place where they almost fought. YCP member TJS Sudhakar Babu and Telugu Desam Party member Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy fought, as per the information aired in the media. The efforts made by the Speaker to pacify the members did not pay off. With no option left after the intensity increased, he left his seat.

Going into details, the Telugu Desam Party and the left started a protest demanding the cancellation of Go No 1. The TDP MLAs raised the same issue in the house. Ministers and the Speaker urged the TDP leaders to be calm as they are causing obstacles to the question and answer sessions. However, the TDP leaders went to the Speaker Podium and surrounded it. They held the placards. With this, the YCP MLAs stopped the TDP leaders.

Amid this, Sudhakar Babu and Dola argued. Though there is no information on what they told each other, it is said that they almost fought. It is not known who is wrong between the two. Keeping the issue of who is wrong aside, the two members crossed the line. As per the recommendation of Legislative Affairs Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, the Speaker suspended 11 MLAs for the day.

The two MLAs made allegations and counter-allegations against each other. It is a harsh truth that the behavior going out of hand is the reason behind the Assembly scenes. It appears that the chiefs of the parties should discuss the code of conduct to see that the house functions without any issues.

Kinjarapu Atchannaidu said that the YCP MLAs attacked the party leaders. He alleged that Sudhakar Babu attacked Bala Veeranjaney Swamy. He also said that YCP MLA Vellampalli Srinivasrao pushed Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary. Saying that they can be suspended and action can be taken if they have done anything wrong, Atchannaidu asked who gave the power for the ruling party to attack. But this is not acceptable, the TDP leader added.
