Ex MLA And Minister Argue Over Vangaveeti Ranga Statue!

There is a dialogue in Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu which says that one need not live for 100 years for people to remember him. People living for fewer years will also be remembered forever if he or she does any remarkable work. YCP and TDP are still banking on the legacy left by YSR and NTR respectively.

One such leader is Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga who is known as a mass leader. He enjoys a cult following in the Krishna district and he is seen as a demi-god by the Kapu community.

The political parties started catering to the Kapus. They can be a deciding factor in the polls as they amount to around 27 percent of the state population. With Janasena getting stronger they might be a good vote percentage for the party.

Seeing this, the ruling YCP started owning Ranga and a statue of him was set up in Tanuku. Local MLA Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao who is also a Cabinet Minister took part in the opening ceremony of the statue. Former Tanuku MLA Arimilli Radha Krishna was also present on the occasion.

A big argument broke out between them when the YCP Minister accused the TDP of removing the statue. He alleged that the previous government removed the statue while their government set up the statue.

Arimilli Radha Krishna hit back at the Minister and accused the Minister of spreading lies. He dared the Minister to prove the comments. A ruckus took place at the event with the current and former Tanuku MLA arguing with each other.
