The Bharatiya Janata Party is giving its best to come to power at the Centre and record a hattrick of wins in Lok Sabha polls. Except for Congress, no other party achieved this and the saffron party is aiming for the big goal. Besides this, the BJP leadership is also looking to spread its wings in the southern region.

Talking about Andhra Pradesh, the BJP is currently occupied with the MLC polls. Now it is said that a former Chief Minister might join the BJP fold. The talks are underway allegedly and we can expect a positive outcome and the ex-Chief Minister donning the BJP shawl.

As per the media reports, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, who served as the last Chief Minister of the combined Andhra Pradesh might join the BJP. Talks are said to be underway for a very long time.

It is known that there is no popular face in the Andhra Pradesh wing of the BJP. Though Somu Veerraju is leading the party, there is no growth in the party in the state. Many draw a comparison between Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and Somu Veerraju and say that Veerraju could not pull off a Kanna.

The AP BJP is looking for popular faces who can increase the party's image and Kiran Kumar Reddy's name popped up. A few key leaders went into touch and started talks. We might hear news on this very soon as per the observers.

If Kiran Kumar Reddy can join the party then it would be a plus point for BJP as he earlier served as the Chief Minister. On top of this, Reddy is known for his pro-Andhra idealogy. He tried his best and supported the idea to make the state undivided and this might be helpful.

The senior Congress leader met the seniors in the party and this started the debate about him becoming active again. However, that did not happen and Kiran Kumar Reddy stayed away from party activities. Now it is said that the BJP leadership went in touch with him and talks are underway. It is said that Kiran Kumar Reddy would leave the Congress and join BJP soon.
