The Union Public Service Commission is an examination to recruit Group 'A' officers at the national level. It is the toughest exam in the country and aspirants spent years together in preparation. To give an example of how tough the exam is, even the Artificial Intelligence backed ChatGPT also could not crack the exam.

The results of UPSC exams were announced and girls got the top rankings. Ishita Kishore, an economics graduate got the first rank. Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi, and Smriti Mishra got the next ranks. The top four ranks were bagged by women.

Girl students top the rankings in 10th, and Inter exams usually. Compared to boys, girls record high pass percentages and they also bag the top ranks. Now they did the same in the UPSC exams as well. They bagged the top four positions. Though they hail from different backgrounds, they stood on the top.

As many as 933 candidates managed to crack the exam. While 613 out of them are men the rest are women. The Union Public Service Commission exam will be held in three stages and those who managed to pass through them will crack the exam. Candidates who crack the exam will be taken into Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other posts.

Out of all the candidates, 180 candidates were selected for IPS, while 38 were picked for IFS, 200 candidates for IPS and 473 candidates for Central Group Category A and 131 candidates for Category B.
