The political heat in Andhra Pradesh increased at once after YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy made shocking allegations. He alleged that his phone was tapped and not just his phone but the phones of others were also tapped. He said that the phones of MLAs, Ministers, and MPs were tapped and they told him.

He even said that he will not contest as a YCP leader in the next elections and situations where he cannot stay in the party were created. The ruling party MLA alleged that a Police officer informed him about the phone tapping and he asked why his phone was tapped.

The YSRCP party is facing the heat with his comments as he is the third MLA to openly criticise the party. After Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad, Kotamreddy also made comments that are causing trouble for the party.

The ruling party swung into action and started damage control. Sajjala Ramma Krishna Reddy, Advisor to the government gave a harsh reaction and dubbed the allegations the MLA made as false and he vented out his anger with his comments.

Talking about the Phone tapping row, Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy asked why his phone will be tapped and what is the need to do so. People's support is Jagan's support and tapping the phones of legislators. Sajjala observed that not getting a post might be the reason behind Kotamreddy's dissatisfaction but he cannot make such false claims.

On the other hand, former Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy also lashed out at Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy for his comments. He alleged that he smells a big conspiracy behind the comments made by the MLA all of a sudden.

The ex-Cabinet Minister did not stop there. He raised a new doubt about whether Chandrababu Naidu was behind the comments. He alleged that Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy might have met the Telugu Desam Party supremo and that is why he is making such comments.

It looks like the Kotamreddy issue is giving a big headache and the party leadership wants to address the issue and sort it out before it becomes a big issue like what happened with rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju.
