Has Jana targeted Revanth Reddy?

Senior Congress heavyweight and former minister jana Reddy kept the party on tenterhooks throughout Friday. His comments that there was a likelihood of the BRS and the Congress coming together to fight the BJP have created quite a commotion within the political circles. He said the people would decided who would align with whom in the 2024 elections.
These off-the-cuff comments gave the BJP the much-needed ammo and it began attacking both the Congress and the BRS. It said that Jana has validated what the BJP was claiming all along. The BJP said that there was an unholy nexus between the Congress and the BRS. These comments have caused much discomfiture to PCC chief Revanth Reddy, who has been fighting the BRS seriously.
Later in the evening, Jana has again addressed a press conference and clarified that his comments were misconstrued. He tried to do some damage control and said that he was only referring to Rahul Gandhi's disqualification and the BRS support to the Congress agitation. Though he did do some course correction, it has done quite a lot of damage to the Congress Party.
Political analysts see Jana comments as an indirect attack on PCC chief Revanth Reddy, who is pitching to emerge as the face of anti-TRS attack in Telangana. Already, several seniors are ranged against Revanth Reddy and have even lodged complaints with the party's high command. Jana's latest comments are being seen as the continuation of the cold war between Revanth and the rest.
