Indian Drags Boat Captain To Court Over Wife's Death!

Florida is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the United States with a big beach and entertaining water sports. However, Florida has no good record among Indians. In a few instances, Indians either met with big accidents or passed away in the regions with unfortunate incidents. A couple of months back, two Indian students breathed their last in a seaboat mishap.
The unwanted record of Florida is in the news now as an Indian-origin man dragged a boat captain and resort company over his wife's death. Blaming them for negligence a person moved the court. The unfortunate incident which happened last year claimed the life of Indian-origin person's wife.
Going into details, Srinivasrao Alaparthi visited the Florida Keys last year with his wife and family members. His wife Supraja, son, and nephew went parasailing. Things turned upside down when the weather became bad. The summer storm became strong and claimed the life of Supraja and left the two kids injured.
As per the media reports, the captain of the boat cutting the rope tied to Supraja is the reason behind the mishap. With this, she was dragged across the water and she later slammed into a bridge. The local Wildlife Conservation Commission is also said to have confirmed the same.
Srinivas Rao Alaparthi is also saying the same and he alleged that the boat captain and the resort for negligence claimed his wife's life and left two kids injured. He alleged that the captain of the boat cut the rope tied connecting his wife and the boat.
Speaking to the local media, Srinivasa Rao recalled the horrific incident. He said that he and his family watched what his wife and two kids went through. Seeing that the weather condition was not good, the captain cut the rope without giving any instructions. They floated for two miles and crashed into the water, he said.
He also urged everyone to be aware of companies that offer paragliding sports. "We trusted these companies, but they let us down in the worst possible way. Our goal is to ensure that no other family goes through what we're dealing with today," Srinivasa Rao said speaking to the media.
