Jagans Target For Legislators; Work Hard For 9 Months!

The much-awaited Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Meeting started earlier today and all eyes are on the meeting. There is a reason behind this. Of late, there is a talk that Andhra Pradesh might go for early polls. The opposition parties becoming politically active raised doubt. Amid this, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired the Cabinet meeting.

At the meeting, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to have assured the leaders that elections will be held as per the schedule and there should be no doubts about that. Reports say that Jagan cleared the doubts on the possible early polls in the state.

If we have to take anything from the reports, Jagan gave a target to Ministers to work hard for nine months as the elections are nine months away. This indicates that there are no chances of the state going to early polls as being reported in the reports.

It has to be mentioned here that the party leaders are already busy with the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam. Keeping aside instances of a few leaders facing shocks from people, legislators are not shying away as the leadership is adamant about taking part in this.

Political observers say that leaders who get good reviews will be given tickets and others will be left empty hand. Earlier, Jagan said that leaders have to pull their socks up and meet the people. Leaders like Kethireddy Venkatarami Reddy were praised for their work.

But Jagan did not say anything about the leaders' work and it is said that to not bring down the morale of the leaders he took the decision. As there are nine months they can pick up their work and who could not do that then they will not be given tickets.

On the other hand, it is an open secret that the majority of YSRCP leaders won the 2019 polls in Jagan's wave and they don't have a personal image. The Jagan wave might not work every time and leaders have to work hard. Maybe Jagan hinted at the same during the meeting.

The Jagan government is banking heavily on the welfare schemes it has been implementing as the scheme covers various sections of the society. If the beneficiaries vote for YCP, then nothing can stop the party.
