Low key birthday celebrations for Kavitha Kalwakuntla

It was a flaccid and low-key birthday for TRS MLC Kalwakuntla Kavitha on Monday. Usually, her birthday is always a gala affair with the Who is Who of the TRS and those in the administration jostling to greet her. Her residence would be chock-a-block with people. But, this time around, things are different.
Kavitha celebrated her birthday in a very sedate manner with no guests being allowed. She had already indicated to the party biggies that she would not receive them. Hence, many important leaders decided to stay away from her birthday. She too chose to remain confined to her residence, hardly meeting anyone.
Another reason for the low turnout at her residence is that most of her hard core supporters are still in Delhi. Many of them trooped to Delhi in the anticipation that the ED might arrest her. They planned to organize protests. However, the ED chose not to arrest her and instead asked her to come for the hearing once again on March 16. As a result, most of her supporters are vacationing in Delhi. Sources say that the TRS has in fact asked them to stay put in Delhi for some more time.
However, some of her diehard supporters celebrated their birthday. The Bharat Jagrithi, which is the latest version of the TRS, has celebrated Kavitha's birthday on the premises of the Supreme Court. The Greater Hyderabad unit of the Bharat Jagrithi too celebrated her birthday in Chikkadpalli area.
