Hearing a petition, a court made some sensational comments on sex. The court said that sex work is not wrong. However, if anyone does that in public places creating issues for others, then it is an offense. The Court also set aside the orders given by the lower court in the case it had given earlier.

Going into details a woman was arrested along with clients when police raided a house. The woman is believed to be doing sex at the time of getting arrested. She was placed before the Magistrate court in Mumbai. The Court directed the cops to place her in a government shelter home for at least one year. She moved the sessions court.

The Mumbai sessions court heard the petition and found fault with the orders given by the Magistrate court, reports said. The sessions court also set aside the orders. While giving a verdict, the sessions court made some shocking comments.

As per the media reports, the sessions court said that sex work is not an offence as per the rule. However, doing it in public life and causing issues for others should be seen as an offense. The court also set aside the orders given by the Magistrate court earlier.

"As per rule, to involve in sex work is not itself an offence, but to do sex work in public place so as to cause annoyance to others can be called as offence," the sessions court said while giving the verdict.

A woman was arrested earlier in February after conducting a raid. Along with her few others were also arrested. In March, a Magistrate court ordered that she should be placed in a government shelter home. She moved the session court against this and the sessions court said that as per the rule, sex work is not an offence.
