Two of the biggest Cricketing nations India and Australia which recently locked horns for the Border-Gavaskar trophy fought each other again for a One Day series. The famous Wankhede Stadium is hosting the first match of the three-match series. Fans who came to watch the match faced a big surprise.
One of the biggest Superstars in Indian Cinema Thalaivar Rajinikanth came to the match. He was spotted enjoying the match along with Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president Amol Kale. Fans were excited to see Thalaiva in the stadium during the match.
The Cricket Association shared the pictures of Rajinikanth along with the President and said that Thalaiva is in the house and he had an interaction with him. The pictures took social media like a storm.
"Thalaiva in the house…The President of Mumbai Cricket Association, Mr. @Amolkk1976 in conversation with the Superstar @rajinikanth during the #INDvAUS game at the Wankhede," the Association said on Twitter.
Rajinikanth is a sports enthusiast and he never misses an opportunity to enjoy a match. He went to the same Wankahde stadium for the 2011 World Cup finals between India and Sri Lanka. He was spotted encouraging the Men In Blue throughout the match.
