Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao's daughter Kavitha landed in big trouble with the alleged Delhi Liquor scam. The investigating agencies named the former MP as the accused in the case and she already faced a round of questioning in connection with the case.

BRS MLC Kavitha who is facing a tough time with the Liquor scam skipped the ED questioning and sent a letter that a woman cannot be called to the office for questioning. For this, she also knocked on the doors of the Supreme Court. She filed a petition requesting the SC to hear the petition earlier.

But Kavitha faced a big blow with the Supreme Court refusing to entertain the petition. The Country's top court said that it will hear the petition on the 24th of this month as mentioned earlier. This can be seen as a shocking development in the case.

Now all eyes are on Kavitha to see what she will do. The ED had recently served a notice saying that she should attend the hearing on the 20th of this month. Many felt that the Supreme Court might give relief to her. But that did not happen.

What Kavitha will do, is the question now. The Supreme Court turned down the petition. She has two options left. One is to attend the questioning or skip. If she skips then there is a possibility of ED seeing this as a violation. Retired CBI Officer JD Lakshmi Narayana said that Kavitha should attend the session and she cannot skip it.

On the other hand, the CBI and ED are said to have focused on the South Group. After extending the custody of Ramachandra Pillai, the ED served notices to Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy. His son Raghava was earlier arrested and sent to jail.

The BRS is alleging that Kavitha is being targeted as KCR is coming to national politics. The party leaders and cadre held a protest recently supporting her. Her lawyer earlier said that they will take the next step after the Supreme Court gives its verdict. So we have to wait and see what Kavitha will do.
