TRS Turns BRS: Ex-MP From AP Supports KCR!

KCR already emerged as a big leader in Telangana. He had an impressive journey from being a Telangana statehood fighter to the leader of the state. KCR took an active part in the statehood movement and even sat for a strike. The strike added fuel to the movement and the Union government granted a state.

Starting a new journey, the Chief Minister recently announced the change in the party name. To suit the national party, TRS was renamed Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and a letter saying the same was sent to the Election Commission.

KCR entered national politics to take on the mighty BJP. Under that, the Telangana-based party would also try its luck in the upcoming General elections in Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After KCR announced the change in his party name, the buzz is not that great in fellow Telugu state Andhra Pradesh. YSRCP said it is not interested in joining any front or the alliance. Janasena is yet to give its response and Telugu Desam Party Chandrababu Naidu reportedly gave a small laugh when asked about KCR’s new party name.

Amid this, a veteran politician from Andhra Pradesh supported KCR. He is none other than Undavall Arun Kumar. The former Lok Sabha MP supported KCR and said that he is supporting the Chief Minister as he wants to take on the BJP.

Giving the reason behind him supporting the Chief Minister, Undavalli Arun Kumar said that he is against the BJP and he will support any party that is against the party. I will vote for the party which is against the BJP. If Congress and Communist Parties are not contesting, I will vote for NOTA, he said.

Giving more details, Undavalli Arun Kumar said that he earlier met KCR and he informed him about the planning that went into starting a national party. Having said that, the former MP said he will go and meet KCR whenever he asks for it.

Talking about the impact BRS can create, Undavalli Arun Kumar said that he cannot say if BS can come to power or not. But the voice will surely reach the public. It is a good thing that KCR decided to foray into national politics, he added.
