Team India started its journey for the mighty 50 Over World Cup. The Men In Blue won two matches out of three matches against the blackcaps New Zealand. Team India is eyeing a whitewash by winning the third ODI which is slated for commencement on Tuesday.

Ahead of the last ODI, a few members of the Indian team reached Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temple and offered special prayers to the deity. Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, and Washington Sundar visited the temple and offered special prayers. They performed Bhasma Aarti to Lord Shiva and the staff members were also present.

The players went to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva ahead of the last match of the series. Most ha[ppening batsman Surya Kumar Yadav aka SKY said that they prayed for the speedy recovery of Rishabh Pant. He spoke about the value the wicketkeeper-batsman brings to the batting order.

News Agency ANI quoted Surya Kumar Yadav as saying that Rishabh Pant is important for the team and everyone is waiting for his recovery and comeback. Having said that, the batsman said they have offered their prayers for the speedy recovery of Pant.

It has to be mentioned here that the team India players visited the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram before the ODI series. The likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Shreyas Iyer visited the temple. Following the tradition, the team India players donned the traditional dress.

Talking about Rishabh Pant he met with a big accident on the eve of New Year. While he was on his way to his hometown to surprise his mother the mishap happened. The road accident was reported on the 30th of last month. He lost control of his luxury car and collided with the divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.

The impact of the crash was such that his vehicle caught fire. He managed to come out of the vehicle. A few passersby called the ambulance and took him to the hospital. The 25-year-old player sustained many injuries in this. The Board of Control for Cricket in India assured all the required help to the player in the journey to recovery.
