The Bharatiya Janata Party is aiming to win the next Lok Sabha polls and achieve a hat trick of wins. Only the Congress party has the record and the saffron party wants to pull off a Congress. A recent survey said that BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi still have a good image and the BJP can win the polls.

But Adani's issue has been troubling the BJP. From opposition parties to activists everyone is targeting the Union government. There is strong criticism that the BJP is supporting Gautam Adani and loans were given to him. The attack became intense after the United States-based Hindenburg carried out a sensational report alleging that Adani's business umpire is based on a false narrative and many violations are there in his umpire.

The opposition parties are rocking the Parliament with an intense attack on the Adani issue. The parties are saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has no answer to this and that is why he is not giving a strong response to the questions the opposition parties and leaders are raising on Gautam Adani row.

Amid this, the issue reached the Supreme Court. A public interest litigation (PIL) was filed in the Apex Court. Advocate Vishal Tiwari moved the Supreme Court seeking a probe into the report filed by Hindenburg on the business of Gautam Adani companies. Saying that the report impacted the shares of the company the PIL was filed.

When he said that the petition should be heard on an urgent basis, the bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and comprising P S Narasimha and J B Pardiwala said that the petition will be heard on Friday.

He also requested the Supreme Court to issue directives to constitute a special committee to take care of the policy of giving sanctions to big corporates of over Rs 500 crores.

His petition will be heard along with the PIL that was filed by ML Sharma to start a probe on the founder of Hindenburg, Nathan Anderson for the report that was prepared. Alleging that the investors were exploited, the petition was filed.
