Vizag As Capital: RBI Takes Sensational Decision!

What Is the Capital of Divided Andhra Pradesh? This is the question that has been going on for many years. It's been nine years since the state bifurcation but the divided state has no steady capital yet. The change in government changed the status quo of the capital row.
The previous government proposed Amaravati as the capital city. But three capitals popped up after YCP came into power. The issue is now pending with the court. The ruling party changed its decision and is proposing Vizag as the capital of the state.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy earlier made some interesting comments and said that Vizag will be the capital of the state and invited investors and business tycoons to come to the city to make investments. "I am here to invite you to Visakhapatnam, which will be our capital. I will also be shifting to Vizag," he said.
Now an interesting thing happened. The Reserve Bank of India(RBI) allegedly said that a regional office will be set up in Vizag. The officials of RBI are coordinating with the state officials to look for a suitable location. It is said that RBI officials are looking for a building so that the operations can be started.
RBI focusing on setting up a regional office in Vizag raised many eyeballs. Many even doubt if the officials of the state might have requested the RBI to set up an office in Vizag. Usually, the regional office is set up in the Capital city. With this many are seeing this as another big development in announcing Vizag as the capital city.
In the combined state RBI has an office in Hyderabad. After the bifurcation, officials used to go to Andhra Pradesh for work. All of a sudden a regional office is likely to come up in Vizag.
