Will Communist Parties Join Opposition To Fight BJP?

Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao and his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar have a common interest in entering national politics and defeating the mighty Bharatiya Janata Party. The Chief Ministers are gathering support from various corners for the big dream of entering national politics. The duo met recently in Bihar.

Now the two like-minded Chief Ministers are gearing up to come together as they were among the invitees for the CPI National Conference, which is slated to be commenced between October 14 to 18 in the temple city Vijayawada. The likes of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will also share the screen.

It is known that the communist parties in the state who earlier had issues with the TRS kept the issues aside and joined hands with the TRS for the upcoming Munugode polls. The communist parties said that there is a need to defeat the saffron party. After the Communist parties extended support, KCR said that the friendship with the communist parties would go beyond the Munugode polls too.

CPI inviting KCR along with Chief Ministers of Kerala, Bihar, and Tamil Nadu shows the friendship between communist parties and TRS will not stop with just the Munugode by-polls. Moreover, all the Chief Ministers who were invited to the CPI National Conference are against the BJP.

There are two issues here. One is all the link-minded Chief Ministers in the nation will be sharing the stage next month in Vijaywada. As the focus is on the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the Chief Ministers coming together will be a piece of good news for the opposition parties.

So we can expect that the communist parties might join the forces with the opposition parties in taking on the mighty BJP. As a few issues are troubling the saffron party, the opposition parties coming under one roof might be big trouble for the next Lok Sabha polls.

The second thing is that the friendship between TRS and communist parties is growing stronger and stronger. With the communists having a strong hold on the Nalgonda region, this might help the ruling TRS in winning the by-poll in the Munugode Assembly constituency.
