Derek Pringle represented the England team after a good domestic season. Later he got an opportunity to play the team in the World Cup. In the 1992 edition, he played for the team. Before him, his father East Africa played the World Cup back in 1975.
Lance Cairns, Chris Cairns (New Zealand):
Bernard Lance Cairns is one of the best all-rounders to have plates for the New Zealand team. He took 130 Test Match wickets and 89 ODI wickets in his career. He played in the 1979 edition of the World Cup. Later, his son Chris Cairns represented the team in as many as four events in 1992, 1996, 1999, and 2003.
Chris Broad, Stuart Broad (England):
Opening batsman-bowler Brian Christopher Broad played the World Cup for the 1987 edition. With his bowling and batting skills, he played a key role in many memorable wins for the team. His son Stuart Broad, one of the veteran bowlers in the current era played 2007,2011 and 2015 editions of the World Cup.
Geoff Marsh, Mitchell Marsh, Shaun Marsh (Australia)
Regarded as one of the best Australian players, Geoff Marsh had a dream career. Adding another feather to his cap, he was a member of the team that won the 1987 World Cup. Shaun Marsh represented the team in the 2019 edition of the tournament. Mitchell Marsh played the 2015 edition of the tournament and is playing the 2023 edition as well.
