Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting ready for his 151st film 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'. Producer Ram Charan is planning to make it as a pan-India film and his team is said to be approaching Bollywood heroines for the film. Latest buzz says that they have approached Aishwarya Rai for the main female lead role and her remuneration demand came as a shocker to them.
Aishwarya charges Rs. 9 crore per film and she has demanded the same for Chiranjeevi film. Aishwarya has acted in very few South Indian films and when she acted Rajinikanth's 'Robot' she was reportedly paid Rs. 6 crore as remuneration. She was at the peak of her career when she acted in 'Robot'. But demanding 9 crore now is a hefty price as she doesn't have that kind of craze anymore. Charan's team is in a fix now, whether to accept her remuneration demands or not.
Some industry insiders are commenting that our filmmakers are targeting pan-India market but they are hestating to pay remuneration to the stars who has pan-India reputation. It seems they have some logic...what say folks ?
