Nandamuri Balakrishna has scored a massive hit with 'Akhanda'. This mass film which came out in December last year turned out to be the biggest hit in his career and people in theatres had a euphoric experience while watching it. Starting from Balayya's Aghora character to Thaman's thumping background score, everything worked brilliantly. After such a humongous success, the Nandamuri senior hero has joined hands with Gopichand Malineni.
This combination generated a lot of buzz among the movie lovers. Gopichand Malineni proved his worth with 'Krack' and the fans of Balayya are expecting the same level of mass scenes from this flick too. The first look poster is already out and it generated a terrific response. Set in the backdrop of Anantapuram, this movie is expected to have many politically loaded comments and signature Balayya mark moments.
Reports suggest that Gopichand Malineni is planning to name the film 'Jai Balayya'. This is a famous slogan among the fans and Boyapati used it cleverly for a song in 'Akhanda'. Now, the 'Balupu' director decided to take it a step further and used 'Jai Balayya' as the movie's title. The official announcement is expected to arrive in the coming days. Apparently, 'Annagaru' was also considered but Anil Ravipudi wanted to use it for his upcoming flick with Balayya which made Gopichand Malineni name his film 'Jai Balayya' as per sources.
Popular Kannada actor Duniya Vijay will be seen as the antagonist in this movie while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is playing a key role. Glamorous lady Shruti Hassan is going to be the female lead in this project. Tollywood's leading production house Mythri Movie Makers are producing this much-awaited film.

His terrific work can be seen in movies like 'Sarrainodu' and 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka'. Navin Nooli who recently won a National Award for 'Jersey' will be the editor while Sai Madhav Burra will be penning the dialogues.
