If the buzz is to believed, Satellite Rights of 'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadham' has been acquired by Zee Telugu long ago. A hefty price has been paid for this venture as the last venture (Sarrainodu) of Allu Arjun was a blockbuster.
Actually, Zee Network has entered into a deal with Dil Raju. As per the mutual agreement, The Ace Producer has to sell the Satellite Rights of all of his films to Zee alone. It's because of this reason Zee Telugu was able to grab 'Shatamanam Bhavati' and minted money with its first Television premiere.
And now, Even 'DJ' which is one of the much-awaited flick of 2017 has come Zee Network's way. So, It's a win-win situation for both Zee and Dil Raju!
'Sarrainodu' is likely to release in the first half of June. It missed the June 19th deadline because of the delay in shooting but the Team isn't complaining because people will come out of 'Baahubali' hangover by then.
