Balayya Gives Free Hand To Krish

Biopics trend has started in Tollywood sometime back.  Though 'Mahanati' released before NTR.. YSR biopics, all the three projects were in the planning stage before 'Mahanati' release.  Though 'NTR' biopic is the craziest biopic among the three projects, 'Mahanati' released first and set a high standard for the other two.

Nandamuri Balakrishna initially planned the biopic with director Teja but the combo couldn't materialise as Teja walked out of the project due to the creative differences.  Making the biopic of NTR is not an easy task as it involves several complex episodes including NTR's second marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi.. Chandrababu dethroning NTR... Nandamuri family members deserting NTR in the final stages.. etc.  There are reports that Balayya wants to end the biopic without Chandrababu episode because he doesn't want to show him in bad light.

After the exit of Teja, Balayya handed over the responsibilities to Krish.  Balayya reportedly gave a free hand to Krish in making the biopic and told him that the movie should become a classic in Telugu like 'Mahanati'.   Balayya is known for following his directors sincerely once he gives his nod to the script.  Similarly, Balayya gave full freedom to Krish in the making of the biopic.

Krish has taken full control of the project already and he has replaced the cinematographer with Gnana Sekhar. Krish decision is final regarding the cast & crew as per the talk.  It seems Balayya has done the right thing by giving a free hand to Krish.  We have to wait and see how Krish is going to impress the audience with the biopic.
