Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to be receiving career-best pay package for 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'.
Sources close to the unit say, Balayya was paid a whooping Rs 8 crore as his remuneration for his landmark 100th movie. As the film fetched record pre-release business, Krish wouldn't mind paying a handsome amount to the male lead.
Prior to 'Simha', Balakrishna used to charge just Rs 2 crore per project. After 'Simha', He began charging Rs 5 crore per movie. There is buzz that he even charged Rs 7 crore for few films but no one has confirmed it. Its only for 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', Balayya has pocketed a remuneration as high as Rs 8 crore.
As per talk, Producers have offered Rs 10 crore for Balayya initially. The Nandamuri Hero, however, cut down his pay by Rs 2 crore and asked Makers not to compromise on the quality of the project.
