Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited Beast had landed at the theatres as the action thriller had a worldwide release today. Vijay's recent films scoring big hits is the reason behind the high expectations and buzz for the film. The teaser, songs, and trailer set the expectations soaring high.

The film released a lot of hype, but the film started with a mixed response. Across the regions, Beast had opened to mixed reviews as the film could not match the high expectations. Vijay fans who pinned high hope on the film are unable to digest this.

The mixed reviews are bothering the fans, a section of fans is not happy with the film. They did not like the outcome of the film and they showed their anger at the theatres out of frustration. Videos of the same are now doing rounds on social media.

A few fans took their frustration to the next level by setting the screen on fire. Reports say that fans at a few theatres in Tamil Nadu had burnt the screens. The management of the respective theatres was in shock looking at the shocking behavior of fans.

Having a massive fan following has its negative impact like this. If fans are not happy with anything then they will vent out their anger and others have to face the wrath of the angry fans. Even the stars cannot stop the fans from behaving in this style. This is not fanism but psycho nature.

Tall beauty Pooja Hegde paired opposite Vijay in beast. The film has an ensemble cast of Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsle.
