Distributors to 'Beg' before Superstar's House

Update: 2015-02-16 13:53 GMT
Distributors of 'Lingaa' are launching the next phase of mass protests demanding compensation for the heavy losses incurred for acquiring the theatrical rights for the sky-rocket prices.

Makers of 'Lingaa' agreed to pay 10 percent of the losses incurred as compensation last month. Rajini's friend and distributor Tirupur Subramaniam who was assigned the job to estimate the loss suggested a compensation of Rs 35 crore. However, Producer Rockline Venkatesh is unwilling to pay such a huge amount from his profits.

Lingaa Distributors say: "The compensation we demanded is less than Rajinikanth's remuneration. They made us bed for compensation. So, we will beg right outside Rajinikanth's residence".
