We are getting to know the life stories of the unsung heroes in the Indian Army with the makers making biopics on the war heroes. Recently, Bollywood made a film called Shershaah, the biopic of Vikram Batra. Another biopic was announced in Bollywood.

Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar announced his new film Gorkha, the film that traces the life story of Major General Ian Cardozo. The former Indian Army officer served as the commander of a battalion and a brigade. The first look from Gorkha was unveiled earlier this week.

However, a former military officer had detected a few mistakes. He found out that Khukri, a small sword-like thing that Akshay Kumar held in the poster, was not right. The ex-serviceman said that, unlike the sword, Khukri has a blade in the inner side that strikes. He even attached the pictures of Khukri for reference.

Replying to the mistakes detected by the former Army officer, Akshay Kumar had thanked him for detecting the mistake. Assuring that they will take the utmost care for the project, Akshay Kumar maintained that any suggestions that would help them to make the film close to reality would be appreciated.

"Dear @akshaykumar ji, as an ex-Gorkha officer, my thanks to you for making this movie. However, details matter. Kindly get the Khukri right. The sharp edge is on the other side. It is not a sword. Khukri strikes from inner side of blade. Ref pic of Khukri att. Thanks," Major Jolly tweeted.

"Dear Maj Jolly, thank you so much for pointing this out. We'll take utmost care while filming. I'm very proud and honoured to be making Gorkha. Any suggestions to get it closest to reality would be most appreciated," Akshay Kumar replied.
