Another sad news has arrived in the film industry as famous Tamil actor and director Manobala passed away at the age of 69 due to liver-related issues. He underwent angio-treatment in January this year but his health deteriorated over the past few weeks. The Tamil film fraternity has expressed its condolences to the director-turned-actor's family.
The last rights will be performed tomorrow followed by cremation at Valasarawakkam Electric Crematorium. Monobala was last seen in Kajal Agarwal's 'Ghosty'. He worked in a lot of noted films like 'Maga Maharaju', 'Thupaki', 'Ghajini', 'Chandramukhi', 'Alex Pandian' and many more. He acted in more than 700 films.
Superstar Rajnikanth made a tweet that says, "I am deeply saddened by the passing away of my dear friend Manophala, a famous director and actor. My condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace." Bharati Raja tweeted, "my student Disappearance of Manobala Me and ours Tamil screen to the world. Irreplaceable, Disastrous." Radhika Sarathkumar wrote, "I am so heartbroken, just this morning I called and enquired to where he was to go and visit him. Shocked beyond belief. Shared so much with him professionally and on a personal level we both learnt, laughed , fought , ate together and had long conversations about many things, he was a talented person, cld adapt well to all situations. Will miss him."
