Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the cinematography minister of Telangana recently clarified that the shootings will be stalled till June. Megastar Chiranjeevi too came forward and gave his word to maintain physical distance during the shootings to avoid the spread of Corona virus. He stopped the shooting of his film 'Acharya' even before the government laid rules and the rest of the industry followed him.
It has been 50 days since the shootings were stopped and a lot of workers in the film industry are facing hardships. As the government is giving permissions to some sections, the film industry authorities too requested to government to lay off some rules and explained their problems.
Responding to this, the minister said that it is not a big deal to lift the restrictions but nobody knows how Corona affects people and suggested them to stall the shootings for some more days. Taking note on how the other state governments are responding, they will be taking a decision on this in June as per sources. The minister assured that the government will come up with the best decision possible.
