Jaya Prakash Reddy Worked As Teacher To Cover His Debts

Popular actor Jaya Prakash Reddy died of a heart attack in Guntur on 8 September. He was 74. Jayaprakash collapsed in his bathroom on Tuesday morning and breathed his last.

Jaya Prakash Reddy made his film debut, when he was in his 40s, with Venkatesh and Rajani's 1988 film Brahma Puthrudu. However, he didn't find many opportunities after this film and he moved to Guntur in 1992.

He kept movies aside for five years and worked as a teacher to cover his debts. When he visited Hyderabad in 1996 for a medical examination, he met Ramanaidu in a hospital and there the producer offered him a role in Preminchukundam Raa film. After this film, JP Reddy never looked back.

Notably, Legendary filmmaker Dasari Narayanarao had attended an event in Nalgonda and impressed with JP's stage show there. He gave him the opportunity to JP to act in Brahma Puthrudu in 1988.
