Murugadoss Plans To Go Bigger Than Indian Cinema!

AR Murugadoss who is considered one of the top directors in South India has been going through a lean patch lately. 'Spyder' was a disaster, 'Sarkar' ended up as average while 'Petta' failed to reach the expectations. He was supposed to work with his favorite star hero Vijay once again on the sequel of 'Thuppakki'. The shooting was supposed to kick-start prior to the lockdown but it didn't materialize.

Talk in Kollywood circles, Murugadoss is planning to go big this time. He already directed Hindi films like 'Ghazini', 'Holiday' and 'Akira' which is why he is reportedly working on a Hollywood project. Sources say that 'Stalin' director is in discussion with Disney Pictures and the film is expected to be a live-action film along with animation like 'Beauty And The Beast' and 'Jungle Book'.

The project is said to be in the discussions stage and the official confirmation is yet to be heard. If it happens, Murugadoss will be one of the few filmmakers to working a massive Hollywood project. Let us wait till the news is confirmed.
