Veteran hero Nagarjuna's 'Officer', directed by Ram Gopal Varma was released amidst a lot of expectations but the film failed badly at the box office. The film is perhaps the worst one of the actor’s career.

According to reports, Officer has ended up with a mere Rs 75 lakh in total. The film was out of the theatres within a week, which shows its horrible performance. The producer, along with the hero admitted that the movie was a failure.

Akkineni fans were unable to digest the result then. Now, a Kollywood producer is recalling the bitter memories by releasing the film in Tamil. The producer brought the rights of the film and dubbing it into Tamil with title Vetakkaran.  Recently a song and first look poster from the movie has also been released.

Nagarjuna has good recognition in Tamil for his films like Shiva, Geethanjali, and Annamayya. Considering this, the producer is trying to make fortune with the film, though it was miserably failed at Box office. Now, Akkineni fans are worried as the film damages the actor's image in Kollywood too.
