Musical maestro Ilayaraja moved to the court seeking permission to access his chamber in the Prasad studios. The legendary composer told to court that he would not claim any ownership but he intended to access his properties inside the chamber.
After he pled to court, the management of Prasad Studio has informed the Madras High Court that they will grant access to the maestro to his chamber with certain restrictions.
According to the press release of studio management, they would not grant access if his intention is related to music composition. However, it was reported that they would force certain restrictions that should be followed.
Many years ago Prasad Studios permitted Ilayaraja to use a chamber in the studio. It was a verbal agreement between the two 40 years ago. There is no written evidence for this. Ilayaraja has been doing music compositions there for 40 years. But LV Prasad's successors refused to use the chamber. They asked the ace composer to vacate the place.
