'PS -2' Posing A Threat To 'Adipurush'!

Update: 2022-11-04 08:12 GMT
It is well known that Prabhas' pan-Indian mythological drama 'Adipurush' backed out of the Sankranti race due to pending works and heavy competition. The teaser which came out in October received a huge backlash and most of the audience were disappointed with the output even after spending hundreds of crores. The makers even received warnings from politicians too regarding the depiction of Hindu gods in the movie.

There are reports that the movie may hit the screens in April or May. The team hoped for a free release with no competition for two weeks but it might not happen. Elated with the success achieved by 'PS - 1', the makers decided to release the second part of 'Ponniyin Selvan' as soon as they can. With most of the filming for the second part done while making the first part itself, they are planning to release it on April 28th. Earlier, they aimed for a release on Tamil New Year which was two weeks earlier but Rajnikanth's 'Jailer' booked it already.

With Mahesh Babu's #SSMB28 have some delays in shooting, many claim that it may not arrive in the expected time. So, the team of 'Adipurush' and 'PS - 2' are aiming at the same release date i.e 28th April. While there is no question of surviving in front of 'PS-2' in Tamil Nadu, it will be a huge task to achieve a huge response for 'Adipurush' in the rest of the country too. It looks like Prabhas' film is going to have huge trouble in the form of 'PS - 2'.
