The makers of Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise have released a striking new poster of the film. This poster features Fahadh Faasil who plays the antagonist in the film. The renowned Malayali actor looks intimidating in the poster. He carries a menacing look on his face and his demeanor is terrifying as well. Fahadh, who is regarded as one of the finest actors in South Indian cinema is playing the antagonist in the Allu Arjun starrer. His character is named Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. He has tonsured his head for this role in the film. His makeover is intriguing.

The head-on clash between two powerhouses Allu Arjun and Fahadh are likely to be the main highlight of Pushpa: The Rise. The confrontational scenes between Pushpa Raj aka Allu Arjun and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat aka Fahadh Faasil are expected to stand out in the Sukumar directorial. It would be really interesting to watch the hero-villain track between these two in the Pushpa duology.

Pushpa: The Rise is in the final leg of the shoot now. The film features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others in important roles. Anasuya, Sunil, Dhananjaya, and others are playing supporting role in the big-budget action thriller that is being mounted on a lavish scale.  Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media are jointly producing the film. The forest-based actioner is directed by Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Pushpa is being made in two parts and the first installment Pushpa: The Rise is announced for theatrical release this Christmas season. The stakes are high on the duology as Mythri Movie Makers are spending as much as Rs 250 crores on the project. The makers had erected special forest based sets for shooting purpose. Allu Arjun, Fahadh Fassil and others are taking part in the shoot now.

It is heard that Allu Arjun is persistent in sticking to Christmas release plans as he is confident about the film's content. He is braving the Covid outbreak which has taken a toll on the theatrical industry. If things fall into place, Pushpa might be the first pan-India biggie to release in theaters after the Covid second wave.
