Various news reports have suggested that Rana Daggubati is being approached by Vamsi Krishna, the director of Kittu Unnadu Jagratta for an interesting biopic.

The young actor who has been signing  movies that really don't come across as standard Telugu films, Rana decided to go ahead with this biopic as well.

He currently completed shooting of a period tale and will join the shoot of Tamil film about Elephants and nature. In the mean time, he got the script of this movie, based on Tiger Nageswara Rao, a notorious criminal from 70's and 80's.

Nageswara Rao, from Stuartpuram became, 'Tiger' Nageswars Rao has he belongs to a trible called, Yerukula, who are called as criminals by profession by British colonial rulers. He started from Chittoor, expanded to Vizag and Hyderabad at the height of his powers.

The criminal is so notorious that he used to not care for police and even ran away from their custody multiple times. Finally, he was gunned down by Police in 1987, after they got shoot at sight orders.

Well, the story seems highly interesting, hope it can be Telugu, Paan Singh Tomar, a film made by Irfan Khan, the actor in Hindi that won many National accolades.
