Of late, we have been observing increased cases of films that are failing miserably in theaters but later getting due recognition on OTT. This has happened multiple times in the recent past as well. Rightly addressing this point, actor Satya Dev has spoken about this phenomenon and the need to change the same.

In his latest media post, Satya Dev has opened up about the kind of response his latest film Zebra is getting at the box office. He seemed super excited about the same.

"It feels great that you are all celebrating Zebra's success like your own. I feel honored that you all have collectively given me a theatrical success after five long years with Zebra. We are super happy with the way Zebra is going at the box office. At this day and age, theatrical returns are the ultimate meter for a film's run at the box office. It needs to do well in theaters first at any cost. If that doesn't happen, there is no point in getting how much ever appreciation on OTT" Satya Dev stated.

The talented actor does have a point to make as he noted that theatrical success is far more important than appreciation on OTT. The theatrical values are what accredit an actor's market and there is no amount of OTT appreciation that can compensate for it.
