Mahesh Babu has started the chain of multi-starrers in association with Venkatesh with Seethamma Vakitlo Srimalle Chettu, way back in 2013.
He did not give another thought about being in a multi-starrer after that. There was a talk that him and Nagarjuna, could play characters in Mani Ratnam's direction.
But that did not materialise. There was another talk that Boyapati Srinu is planning on bringing him and Balakrishna together for a film.
The movie is said to be a huge collaboration if ever happens and Boyapati Srinu's biggest box office gamble yet.
The director did give a narration and discuss with Mahesh but the actor felt his character is not as strong as Balakrishna's character.
So, he did not agree to go forward with that idea. Still, he has good regard for Boyapati Srinu's talent as a commercial filmmaker and asked him for a script that suits him, it seems.
