Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma surprised everyone by going against the Andhra Pradesh government on the movie tickets issue. The filmmaker asked what right the government has got to decide the ticket price when the producer had put money on making films. His attack on the government has been going on since yesterday.

Expressing dissatisfaction on what is going on in the industry, Ram Gopal Varma showered a flood of questions on Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Perni Nani. The series of questions aimed at the Minister to make him understand who the industry is run and the impact the tickets issue will have on the industry.

In the questions, RGV had summed up the problems the industry will face with the tickets issue. He even compared the industry situation with that of farming. Drawing a comparison, RGV said, like how the force reduction of grains will impact the farmers, the same goes with the producers.

RGV urged the government to subsidize the movie tickets which benefits the common people as well as the film producers. Like how the medical and educational instruments are subsidized, the movie tickets can also be made available for fewer prices, he said.

Not stopping there, RGV sought an answer from the government to know if the government is planning to have a ration shop for movie tickets to pave the way for the movie tickets sale for a rather lesser price.
