The reboot of the classic 1987 sci-fi action film "RoboCop", will release worldwide Feb 14. The much-anticipated movie is the fourth instalment of the franchise.
Starring Joel Kinnaman in the title role, the 2014 remake of "Robocop" follows a story set up in the year 2028. It also delves into the human drama involved in a storyline following a character that is partially controlled by computers but still has a human mind to feel emotions and make decisions, said a statement.
The original "RoboCop" movie did well when it released over 25 years ago, and its success launched a huge franchise which led to the production of two sequels, various television series, video games and comic books.
Directed by Jose Padilha, the film also stars a stellar supporting cast, including Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman.
The movie is said to be packed with action and VFX sequences.
